Everyone at this table was really loud. It was a lot to take in and Kinsay wasn’t sure she liked it all too much. She recognized Adam from the playground and though he didn’t receive a wave or a smile, Kinsay did look at him for a little longer than usual. It was acknowledgement. But her attention was quickly diverted to the singing. Why was there singing? Kizzy was not a fan. She shrunk in her seat a little more, giving the singing boy (Kale) all the judgmental looks without realizing.
Turning her attention back to Emm, she gave her friend a big smile. ”Me too,” though she didn’t really know. It didn’t matter now because they were here together and thinking about the ‘what if’ would be sad and unnecessary. Very sad. Very unnecessary. So instead, Kinsay took a few of the beans that Emmerson offered on behalf of an older boy (Cole). That was nice of him.
Emm’s introduction was appreciated, even if Kizzy wasn’t in the proper mood to meet TONS of new people was she ever?. She still liked that Emm always included her. It made her feel special. She gave everyone a little smile, before looking back at her friends. It was nice that she had so many here. Phoebe, Emm, Emma, and Cece.
