With her mind on dragon’s and her knees pulled tight to her chest, the sound of the door startled her for the briefest of moments but a small smile returned to her face as she recognized the face of the girl she met by the fountain that one time in Diagon Alley. Folding the corner of the page that she was reading over over, Ingrid put her book to one side and nodded.

“Of course. I’d never keep a whole compartment to myself” and if she was being honest with herself, the idea of having a friend before going to Hogwarts that wasn’t someone in her family was a small relief.

Casting a quick glance at Ashley, her eyes instantly went automatically towards her cat and her smile grew wider. “I love your cat! It’s so cute. What’s its name?”. The lure of an animal, magical or not was just too much for Ingrid to resist. She almost had to hold her legs tight just to simply stop herself from getting up and going to stroke the creature but, having looked after so many for so long, she knew all too well that some things just didn’t like strangers.
