It almost felt like a dream. Almost.

Feeling slightly overwhelmed, Ingrid watched out of a window and waved as her father got smaller and smaller until all he resembled was the smallest grain of rice. With a calming breath, Ingrid turned and made towards one of the train compartments at the front, not because they were at the front but because they were the closest and settled herself next to window, her eyes now on the rapidly changing scenery outside of the window.

Unsure exactly how she felt, the little Luck simply drew her legs close to her chest, pulled her hair up using a bobble and grabbed a copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them from her backpack and begin to reread the chapter about Dragons again. Sure, she practically had it memorised by now how well could one really know a book? Besides, with the miniature figurine of the dragon she’d bought from Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes tucked away in her trunk, a little more knowledge couldn’t go amiss.

Ashley entered the car, Common Magical Ailments and Afflictions in one hand and her cat Luna in the other. "Hey can I sit here?" she asked the girl there, who she had met before. She plopped down on the seat across from her and curled up to sorta read her book and sorta look out the window and pet her cat, because y'know, why one do one thing when you can do all the things! She had a bag packed for this trip, with self-shuffling playing cards and cat toys and her wand and chocolate frogs and a spare uniform and another book and some other stuff. Ashley of all people was not one to be unprepared. She even had spellotape, which seemed to be some sort of magic duct tape. She didn't know what it was for, but it seemed like it would come in handy.
