A couple of days kind of short, to be exact.

Fortunately she had some time to spare after work, and opted to stop by the giftshop before she headed out for the day. It was almost too easy! It was a wonder that she hadn't thought about it before. She shook her head, laughing at herself under her breath as she made her way inside. She hadn't ever come in here before, actually, and there was quite a lot to take in. Perhaps she would start by the stationary sets? She started walking in that direction. Or no, the mugs.

Rod enjoyed his morning (and afternoon and evening) tea. Mugs would be a good place to start, she decided as she suddenly turned to walk towards that corner instead. Hm. They had quite a number of options. She scanned the available designs, picking up one of the more delicate ones and turning it around in her hands. Did he already have too many mugs?

The gift shop was an establishment that she always avoided to the best of her ability. As much as she genuinely enjoyed working for the Ministry, she despised the very idea of such a place. It almost reeked of glorified cheesiness and overpriced goods that was only there to get more money out of people. It was enough to make her want to puke.

But desperate times called for desperate measures, right? It was for this reason that Zhuó Xiá, still in her security robes, marched into the gift shop, a look of forced confidence on her face. She didn't care for any looks she was getting, but there was no hiding the foul stench that followed her wherever she went. An unmistakable stench of animal faeces.

She paused, casting an eye around the store, before marching towards the section with mugs and bowls. There was another woman already there but she had bigger things to worry about than a stranger's perceived notion of her. It was for this very reason that she launched straight into a question and not useless idle chatter.

"Ma'am? Do you know how strong these bowls are?" Strong enough to sustain faeces from large animals, possibly?
