Kizzy liked quidditch plenty, but not as much as Matty. Besides, she only liked it because of personal interest, so it wasn't the same now since daddy was retired from quidditch. Instead she looked down at her feet, a little embarrassed for her thoughts. Kinsay quickly looked up when he started talking again though, eager to hear whatever he had to say. Her eyes grew big, and she shook her head. "Did she believe you!?" Her mum would NEVER fall for that, she was too good. Daddy might though, she should've done that to test him.

His sheepish eyes quickly shifted into something brighter, a twinkle of excitement at being able to interest his pal in a story. Even if it was a short dumb one.

"Well... no. I don't think she thought it was all that funny either.. but Benzi and Emma did." Just thinking on his brother's laughter, the amusement he'd had when he agreed it had been a good idea to try to fool mum, was enough to make it all worth it. Plus! Now he had a second wand and that made him feel pretty special. "They laughed." Weirdly, he had a feeling Suri might've laughed too if she'd been there. No so much at the joke, but more at mum's face.

"Did you get all of your supplies yet?" He inched a bit further into the shop, heading toward the new brooms, his eyes careful to keep her in his sights at all times even if she just hung out in his peripheral vision as he walked.
