She smiled when the elder girl told her it would be a lovely idea to offer the fountain a little something. Maya quickly dug into her pocket, pulling out a little coin purse her mom had gotten her. Let's see... There were both American and British currency mixed in together and she rummaged through it trying to decide which one to throw in. "Hm..." she said with a frown. She was reluctant to offer the fountain the shiny magic money that her brother had given her to hold onto in the beginning of the trip. Given, it wasn't much but it was magic. Surely the fountain wouldn't be able to tell the difference between magic and non-magic money right? With that, she tossed a muggle coin in and hoped for the best.

"Oh! It's very nice to meet you Solana," Maya said, turning from the fountain and giving the girl a big smile. "My name is Maya." She paused slightly at the mention of Hogwarts before realizing she must've been calling it incorrectly the whole time when referring to it as 'Pig School'. She blushed slightly at herself and shook her head in reply to Solana's question. "No, not this year. I hope next year though!" Fingers crossed that she would get an acceptance letter in 12 months! "You're so lucky to get to go... I think magic is just so... amazing." The younger girl practically had stars in her eyes every time she thought about it. It was just like all the fairytales and adventures in her storybooks. "My brother Evan is going this year though! I'm excited for him!! Maybe you guys will be friends!!!" Maya exclaimed.

It would be nice if they did. After all, Solana had warned her about the fountain... which she looked back at... was the water... moving faster than it did before? It almost looked like the fountain was upset? Could it have been the coin that Maya had tossed in?

Solana grinned a bit as the other girl introduced herself. “It’s nice to meet you as well! And I’ll be crossing my fingers for you to get that Hogwarts letter! It was such an exciting day for me, when I got mine, I barely slept the night before! ” She grinned at her happily.

“Magic is amazing! I love it,, and every thing that comes along with it.. ” Solana’s brain was racing fast, when she heard her mention Evan and all of a sudden she let out a soft squeal as she turned fully towards the girl, her violet eyes bright.

“Oh my gosh are you Evan Nam’s sister? ” She asked excitedly as she started to bounce on her toes, her ponytail bouncing as she looked at the other girl. She probably shouldn’t be so excited.. but..

Eeeekkkk! Best friends little sister!!!

Possibly!

She would wait to squish her until she said yes.
