Evan's brow nearly rose when he heard the other guy call his younger brother a brat and he turned his attention to the other kid, before noticing his posture and hearing the noise. He... did not seem very friendly. But maybe he was also just having a very bad day? Evan wasn't normally a judgy type, so he mentally shrugged it off before looking back to the elder brother and offering a smile. "I am!" And then the question about house and his smile faltered the tiniest bit. "Well... it would be nice but... I've done a lot of reading and I don't think I possess Gryffindor traits. And I imagine even if I asked the hat, I would still need to be at least somewhat of a fit." Right? Or did that really not matter? "I'm betting I'll end up in either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff." Not that he really had a preference between the two. He did hope one of his new friends would be the same house though!
Hearing the younger boy talk again, Evan turned his attention to him and blinked at the expression on his face. Was that... was he glaring? Had he done something??? "Where were you wanting to explore too?"
