He would have scoffed more at her thoughts.. dungeon creatures did not date.

“Care to join me ” He asked as he motioned to the seat across from him.

She wasn't sure if she should have bothered him at first. Perhaps he would have preferred the solitude. Perhaps he was mad at her for some reason. And yet when he said he wasn't waiting for a soul, she gave a small smile and nod when he asked for her to join her.

"Thank you," she slid into the seat opposite him. "You having a good summer so far? Can you believe we're going to be seventh years!" Really quite incredulous. It felt like just yesterday that she was sitting on the stool, with the hat debating on sorting her between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor and yet now....
