This wasn't a part of the official school shopping trip, but it was well deserved and about time. Emmerson had been as behaved as she could convince herself to be through the book shopping and her mother had promised her she could claim anything from the joke shop as a reward. At first, she'd thought Sugarplums was better but then...she didn't feel like making herself sick when she could have new toys.
"Mini dragons!!" Emm squealed. They were perfect for what she'd need and she bet if she asked nice enough, her aunt Jessa would animate it for her like she did the cats and the dolls. Her own mini dragon she could convince everyone was real by the time all the enchantments were anchored on it.
The little girl paused at the shelf, wondering which one would look the coolest. Her mind was already racing with all the modifications she would ask to have added.
Where had her mother gone off to? She now knew what she wanted.
