It’s official: both of my brothers are idiots, Ariel thought as she entered Sugarplum’s. She didn’t know which one was dumber, the younger one who fell in love with a blood supremacist or the older one who thought it was a brilliant idea to confess those feelings to said blood supremacist! Surely Heath wouldn’t be stupid enough to take Fiy’s advice! He was a Ravenclaw, and Ravenclaws were supposed to be smart, right? Still, she couldn’t shake the suspicion that her baby brother would be nursing a broken heart before the day was out, and it looked like it was up to her to put it back together.

She had been all over Diagon Alley looking for things Heath might like to put into a care package for him when - and mark her words, if even half of what she’d heard about that family was true, it was bound to happen - that girl broke his heart. So far, she had some books and a WerewolfSnout cd, but nothing cured a broken heart like candy. Lots and lots of candy! The brunette bustled about the shop, grabbing various candies off the displays as she went. Some jelly slugs, a box of licorice wands, a few sugar quills… what else? She paused by the handmade candies, wondering which ones her brother would like best. They all looked so good, she might have to buy some for herself while she was here!
