Ahh there was a smile. He leaned smoothly on a rack which thankfully held his weight as he looked at her. Otherwise that could have been embarrassing!

Ever gave her his natural half smile as she spoke. “Hello Gilly. How are you? ” he asked and then gave her a bit of a smirk as she spoke again..

He gave a pretend dramatic gasp and stood up straight and pretended to look around. “How.. did you know I did that? Were you following me.. following you? ” He teased her. “Or do you have your spies that gave you a signal so you could pretend to act surprised.. and yet.. the smile seems real..” He grinned as he poked her cheek.

“Hmmm.. yes it’s real. ” He put a finger on his cheek as if he was pretending to be stumped..

“Well, I guess you can just read minds then. That’s all there is for it. ” He said as he gave a little twirl and smoothly leaned on the rack again.
