(Good news - her short-term and long-term memory seemed to be in perfect working order.) As she made her way to the trolley, Avalon couldn't help but notice the slight limp of the Slytherin boy heading toward her, coupled with a grimace toward his lower extremeties. "Trolley lady ran over your foot?" she asked curiously. Trolley injuries were actually a relatively common occurrence on the train - usually when people were crowding around the hallways. One year, Avalon stubbed her toe big time trying to get past the cart. If he spent less time daydreaming he wouldn't get so startled when people actually spoke to him "Oh ... Trolley?" Daniel had not yet thought of an exciting reason behind his injury, something that made him sound cool and now here he was stumbling around his words "yeah...." he resigned himself to agreeing and settling on being ran over by the food trolley " I didn't mind though! .... it was worth it for chocolate" he rounded it off with a nervous chuckle, yes fantastic Daniel who doesnt love being ran over by a food trolley. |
