"That sounds perfect," Bernie agreed, again scheming to figure out how she could convince her mum to say yes and/or how to impersonate her mum in case she said no. Guess she'd have to start persuading them the minute she got home. Wasn't there a spell to make people do what you want them to do? Hmm.

She blinked a few times and smiled at Blake. "Well, it was nice getting my memory back, for the most part," Bernie laughed a little at this. "Wasn't it weird becoming almost a ghost? And then not having magic, at a MAGIC school? Can you believe that weatherman had the spell to fix everything IN HIS BOOK the whole time?" She shook her head. Where had Blake been when it had all gone down anyway? He was always good at disappearing, though at least that meant he was usually safe and out of harm's way.
