Isla was never one to get overly excited about school projects. As a matter of fact, she couldn't think of one single time she was excited about any school project she'd ever been assigned. They were pretty much a chore for her, and this Flat Newt project was no exception.
Nevertheless, she found herself roaming around on the grounds searching for a place to take a picture of
her cutout. The little pond full of ducks was an obvious place, so Isla carried Newt over to the edge of the pond and positioned him as if he was looking out at the ducks. She knew he loved animals, so he'd probably enjoy looking at the ducks.
The second year backed up, got at a good angle to take what she thought would be a good picture, and
CLICK! Newt's first picture around the castle had been taken! She collected Newt and put him safely in her pocket, and then she sat down to take a few notes.
