Heath hated seeing Claudine look so worried! In that moment, all his fears of what might happen to him vanished, and a determined fire burned in his eyes. He was going to do whatever he had to do to get Claudine and everyone else back to their own time, even if he disappeared in the process. “We’ll figure this out,” he whispered, giving her a reassuring smile. And by that, he meant he would use all the time he had left to riddle this out.

He hoped the answers would become apparent soon, but he became even more confused when Beru started talking about selfies and shrimp tempura and - Wait, she and Professor Kenobi were there when Mr. Strange Weatherman cast the spell before? What a relief! At least they could be trusted to tell the truth if the strange man didn’t! So this happened in the Chamber of Secrets? How did they get in?! He thought he vaguely remembered hearing that only a… person who could talk to snakes (what was the name for that again?) could open the chamber. Who was it? Was it the strange weatherman?

Heath’s eyes darted from Beru to Professor Kenobi, but before he could ask them any of the million questions running through his mind, the Gryffindor prefect was suggesting they go to the astronomy tower to look for the eye of the storm. Didn’t someone else say that earlier? He was almost sure he’d heard that before! Then Professor Erso said they should search outside. Heath blinked, unsure what to make of that. If this was a normal storm, those would be good ideas, but nothing about this was normal! Normal storms didn’t transport people 200 years into the past! What if they were wrong? Then they would’ve wasted precious time for nothing!

Although Heath wasn’t entirely convinced they’d find the eye of the storm outside, he wasn’t going to waste time arguing if that’s what everyone else wanted to do. He looked to Headmaster Thropp for instructions when the strange man said something about a book. Finally, someone said something that made sense! For one wild moment, he was confident they would find the answers they needed by comparing notes… until Thropp said it was the same spell. His heart sank. If they had the correct spell the last time, the location had to be wrong unless…

“Was that what happened the last time you tried the spell? The school falling?” Heath asked, the question directed at anyone who might know. His mind was going a million miles an hour. “Maybe you were in the right place all along…” he mumbled, thinking out loud. “Otherwise nothing would’ve happened. But that would mean something wrong with the spell…” But what? He struggled to recall the parchment he’d read… a spell, the eye of the storm, something about togetherness. Maybe that was the answer!

“Were you the only person casting the spell last time?” he asked Sunny. Realizing only too late how odd that question must sound out of context, he added, “The note… it said we need to work together, didn’t it?” He looked around, hoping whoever had the note could confirm. “Maybe that’s what went wrong before?” He knew it was a longshot, but it was the only idea he had!
