Hello friends, hope you are all well! - This is about the best place I could think to post this so i'm sorry if it seems a little out of left field

A fair few years ago now I was very active on SS and in the RPG but I gradually drifted away from it through my early 20s and by and large completely forgot about it. As of late though I like the idea of having that creative outlet back in my life again and ive logged onto SS again a few times over the past month or so just to have a look around, post occasionally in OOC forums and generally gear myself back up into RP.

Which leads me to posting this, I wonder if anyone would have any tips/pointers/ words of encouragement for someone who has been years out of RPG wanting to get themselves back into the swing of things?. I guess the school term being well underway does not really lend itself to me jumping into things there, though I do have a firm idea of who I am going to RP as and when I do get involved again and have posted a bio in the Slytherin common room.

Excited to get involved again though a little bit stuck on how to go about doing it
