Another reason why she was happy was the research she had the opportunity to look at with all the resources the department offered. It was just amazing. Her friends probably got tired of hearing about it.
Today, she was reviewing one of the papers but the premise in there didn't make sense to her so she was pacing all over the place, trying to regain her focus after five hours of reading. That was why she was here with a folder, some of her hair was starting to get static-standing and she probably looked like a very confused person right now.
"Sachin!" She saw the man there and immediately walked up to him hugging the folder to her chest and smiling. "Hello. Wow, I haven't seen you in a while." Wait, was he... he seemed upset? Mad? Frustrated probably. "Are you okay?"
With the two distracting elements -the odor and the entire Phoenix situation-, Sachin was too busy to nice anyone else there. Least of all, someone with their hair somewhat frizzy. But as the fates would have it, he glanced at the person then did a double-take. Said person had a face he knew. It seemed she recognised him at the same moment too.
Sachin’s face lit up in a smile, all thoughts of phoenixes and disgusting odors vanishing. “Namaste, Eureka.’’ Oh, she had noticed? The man made an attempt to make light of the situation. “Just the occasional situations of black market sales. Not to mention the horrible smell along a few of the corridors.’’ He eyed her hair curiously. “Experimenting?’’ he asked. “Your hair looks messy, no offence.” |
