I prefer the films because I was first introduced to the series through the first two films... also because of my ADHD I often have trouble focusing on books vs movies (though, oddly, audio books are harder for me to focus on than written ones - I get sidetracked working on something and tend to stop listening and my mind wanders - then when it comes back I've missed too much, lol).
