As the man seemed to be no threat to him, Jack let his brush past him go. Because just then a goblin showed up and the shouting from his pocket got louder. He shook his coat again, only the sounds didn’t stop. ”Never you mind you imp, move along.” He pointed his wand from the man to the little creature.
Only the wand didn’t seem to detour the goblin. Long fingers started tugging on his coat. ”Stop it. Hands off,” he yelled, but he really didn’t put up much of a fight to keep the goblin at bay. Nor did he even bother to try and ward off the wizard who appeared to come to his aid.
And then a moment later his arms and legs snapped together. He fell forward towards the goblin, stiff as a board. |
