curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog All thoughts of Christmas carols and cookie decorating went out the window as soon as Gabi noticed Sunny Raine had joined the party. Perhaps it was due to the fact that she studied history, and reporters very rarely ended up at major events just by pure coincidence - but she still didn't trust him. She didn't trust him as far as she could throw him - which was not far. Or at all.
And she especially didn't like the way he was hovering around the students, like he was looking for some dirt on something. She was NOT about to let him take advantage of the students like this. They were all in a very serious situation, which was stressful enough without a stranger poking his nose into places it didn't belong. "Would it be terribly unprofessional of us to make him leave?" she asked Trent softly, her blue eyes never leaving the reporter as she watched him talking to Isla from across the room. Surely transforming one of the broom closets into a small hotel room for him wouldn't be too hard - they did it at Beauxbatons for a whole house - and then...perhaps...they just sealed him in there until the party was over?
Her attention was briefly pulled away by Flora, who got a raised eyebrow from the professor as she heard her ask about putting bows on the house elves. "Miss Thiese...Beezley here to help decorate, not to BE decorated," she reminded her gently. House elves weren't dolls.
