If I had to choose between the books or the movies, I would choose the books because of the memories. I went to midnight release parties for the last three books. I would spend all day and all night reading them, completely immersed in Hogwarts. My family would joke that I would disappear for a week after a new Harry Potter book came out. But, I must admit that I enjoy the social aspect of watching the movies. I love to spend a Saturday afternoon on a rainy day watching a Harry Potter movie, or a Harry Potter marathon on tv.
