WWW grabbed four more jarveys who normally NEVER got along with each other and just carried them into the barn, all four clinging to his arms and chest, their little eyes closed, their mouths emitting squeaks and squeals and not even their usual nonsense. They were really, truly frightened, even moreso than they would be for a regular storm?!?
What was going on here? It hadn't even started raining yet!
"THANKS," he hollered to Kimberly and Claudine as they helped with the kneazles. Luckily, he'd already returned the many ones he'd catnapped borrowed for his lesson earlier in the year.
The Prefect had a good handle on the fwoopers, thank Merlin for seventh years, and now Gabriela was here... Merlin, had she seen this weather coming from up in the castle?! "The bowtruckles, if you can coax them!?!" he yelled her way, obviously yelling to be heard over the wind, not just because he liked yelling. "I'm going for the augureys!"
Poor things, shouldn't they be crying about the storm blowing in, IF the storm did have rain? William shivered as he ran toward the trees where they usually perched. Maybe it was going to be a snowstorm, not a rainy windstorm... he really didn't even hear the birds crying, actually... where WERE they?! Had they flown off already?!? He stood, stumped, near the edge of the Forbidden Forest, staring off into space for a moment.
