SPOILER!!: Isla

Guessing that she might have not been concentrating enough, Isla stared at the cauldron and thought about it no longer being there. She also paid careful attention to the way her wand moved about. She made a movement down...drew a line to the right, a sharp line further to the left, back to the right and one last long line to the left... "EvanESco!" she called out.

Within a second, the cauldron was GONE. Well, FINALLY! She had a feeling the activity was ending soon, and if she didn't move along quickly, she wouldn't get to vanish all the items that were left.

Well done on successfully vanishing your second item. The table has again disappeared and once more you can follow the passageway onward to your third item.

This time you can see a turn of the passage from where you stand. Getting there quickly, allows you to turn a corner to your right where the third table is almost instantly in front of you. That’s handy! For your final tem, you have a vintage rusty alarm clock with a striker between two bells on top of the clock face.

SPOILER!!: Avalon

Professor Eris was really serious about his mazes, apparently. At least she didn't come to any forks in the path. It was easy enough to just follow the corridor. As the second table came into view, she sighed. Another gastropod, but this time, it was even bigger and somehow more slimy.

It hadn't been terribly difficult to vanish the first slug, but this one was significantly larger in size, so Avalon knew that it would take even more focus. She spent a few moments studying the slug and trying to center her thoughts. As she began the wand movements, she thought intently about the slug vanishing, while still considering its characteristics. "Evanesco!"she said firmly, precisely cutting her wand through the air in the zig-zag motion. But would it work?

Well done on successfully vanishing your second item. The table has again vanished and you can follow the passageway.

The passage stretches before you however it is currently set at a dead-end. Twenty seconds or so pass, then the wall dissolves and you can continue onwards. There is a left turn just where you stand (a crossover with someone else’s passway perhaps?) and then your table is just in front of you For your third and final item, you have a small praying mantis to vanished; it is sitting on a handful of leaves.

SPOILER!!: Carsyn

No matter though because time to continue on in this maze, turning to the right and there was another passageway.

It didn't take Carsyn long to reach another table like the first, only this one didn't have anything soft and cuddly. There was an iguana, which if Carsyn was going to be honest here, wasn't on her list of top ten (probably not even top five) creatures. Although it was fake anyway, so she wasn't sure it really mattered.

Zig-zag wand movement and exuding even more confidence this time, "Evanesco". Goodbye reptile.

Well done on successfully vanishing your second item. The table vanished as a result and the passageway led you to the right as you proceeded.

The third table was set a little down the passageway after you turned the corner. For your final item, you find a black chinchilla on the table for you to vanish.

SPOILER!!: Fiona

Well done on successfully vanishing your second item. The table disappeared when you successfully vanished the bottle and once more you can follow the passageway.

You have a turn to the left a little ahead of you. Then a turn to the right where you walk on for a little bit and a second right turn takes you almost directly in front of your final table. As you walk that last few steps you will see that your third item for vanishing is a griffin claw which is sitting on a clear platter.

Taking her wand in hand she moved it in the movements they had practiced in class and cast a quick “evanESco” at the crab because...well, no one wanted crabs.

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has disappeared from in front of you and you can follow the passageway again.

This time you have a quick right-left set of turns before the passageway straightens out again. Your second table is just ahead of you. When you reach it, you find a black and pale green striped iguana waiting for you to practice on.

SPOILER!!: Heath

So far, nothing… Whatever the next thing was, he hoped it wasn’t more eyes or some other kind of animal part. Gross! He continued on the path until he turned a corner. The path was straighter now, and he saw something in the distance.

As he approached, he saw another table, this time bearing a sprig of dittany. Whew, thank Merlin it wasn’t something disgusting this time! Heath took a deep breath. Okay, he could do this… he’d already done it a couple of times before, so he could do it again, right? The only thing was… it didn’t really matter to him whether or not the sprig disappeared. Like, he wanted to vanish it so he could move on in the maze, but he didn’t hate the thing itself enough to want it gone. Never mind…

Heath looked at the sprig, trying to imagine something that would make him want to vanish it. Ooh, what if it was an evil vine threatening to cover the whole galaxy? Now came Heath’s favorite part: the wand movement. Brandishing his wand with a dramatic flourish, he made the required five lines down, then right, left, right, and left again. “Evanesco!” he said with as much confidence as he could muster.

Hopefully this time, he’d only vanish the sprig and not the platter with it! Heath looked at the table again. The sprig was gone. Had the platter vanished too?

Well done on successfully vanishing your second item. He would never know if he vanished the platter as the whole table had vanished from before him.

As you move onwards, you’ll find that you have one turn to the right to follow and after a couple of steps you come to the third table for today's lesson. Sitting on the desk is an ornate vial. The label says ‘armadillo bile’.

Giving a small sigh, the prefect took a few steps towards the small creature curled up into a ball and gingerly stretched out his hand towards it so that it could move the rest of the way. It might only be a conjured creature but something about the way that its eyes bore into him just made him question that theory. He knew full well that he had to vanish the fox but he sort of wanted to keep it now.

He’d get to the vanishing in a moment. Right now, all he wanted to do was to see if the little ball of fur would flinch away from him or not.

The fox was not afraid, it didn’t flinch but it didn’t move into his touch either. It simple sat on the table and waited.

SPOILER!!: Claudine

Despite being a mess this Transfiguration lesson, Claudine half- hoped that she’d be successful at least once. Even partial vanishment of this vial would have worked to cheer her up. Instead, she was staring down at the entire vial still in her presence. Could the lesson get any worse?

No, you know what? Nobody answer that. Even she wasn’t going to, the most she would do is to try again. “EvanESco.’’ You know what? It was a small thing to start this fresh round of spell again with the wrong wand movement. #Sarcasm It was until Claudine did the complete thing that she realised she had started zigging and zagging in the wrong direction so naturally the entire movement was wrong. She legit facepalmed herself.

“EvanESco.’’

This time she was careful to do the wand movement correctly.

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has disappeared from in front of you and you can progress onto item two.

There is a right turn up ahead. Follow the passageway and ahead of you is your second table. Sitting on the desk is a clear platter, with a single griffin claw in the middle of it for you to practice on.

OOC: we have roughly 12 hours left - soooo I'll be checking in every few hours, more than that if I can.
