SPOILER!!: Ewan

Turning around to look at the table again, the prefect just froze for a moment because the table was gone. Vanished and this time, he didn’t even cast the spell. Ahead of him was a path that strayed off to the right. With one last look back at the professor, hoping for a nod of approved but getting sweet, sweet, nothing, the prefect followed the path around to the right until he got to the end again, only pausing for a moment as the maze reconfigured itself.

After taking another six steps, he stopped again at another table, only this time, there wasn’t a cat on it. Nope. Now, it was a little red fox? Okay so this would be more challenging again and if he was being honest, he really didn’t fancy messing up and injuring the creature by not vanishing it properly.

Scrunching up his face a little, the prefect tightened his grip on his wand and went over the zig zag hand movement again. He might have felt confident about the last animal but this one was bigger again and would require a lot more concentration and magical ability. Despite the fact that the little red fox was beyond cute, the prefect steeled his nerve and stared the fox down before repeating to himself quietly ”It’s not a real fox. It’s not a real fox. But it looks real. No! It’s not real”.

Pointing his wand at the, his voice not quite convincing, he muttered ”Evanesco”, his eyes locked firmly on those of the foxes only this time, it didn’t vanish into thin air. Sighing a little, he put his hands on his hips dramatically and just stared at the fox. ” Come on little guy. Do me a favour and just vanish, yeah?”. He knew he could do it if he focused. The problem was just focusing enough.

Sorry Ewan, if he was to talk to you from his platform nine feet in the air, he would have to shout. That, and he was keeping an eye on everyone all over the maze. When the Prefect caught his eye, however the Professor did shoot him a proud smile. He hoped they all knew how proud he was when they succeeded in their spellwork.

The little fox just blinked and waited, curled up quite happily. It had time, it would wait for Ewan.

SPOILER!!: Aboli

The Slytherin stepped forward timidly at first, but then kept walking. It almost felt like ten whole MINUTES she was walking, too, before she came upon her next task. A frog this time! She couldn't remember...but weren't mammals the hardest to make disappear? Or had she made that up? Whatever it was, she figured the frog might be easier....he was around the same size-ish. He was cute, too.

"I'll call you....Broc." His coloring reminded her of rotting broccoli, so it only fit that he was called Broc. She gave his little head a pat before taking a step back and rolling up her sweater sleeves. Cracking her neck as she tilted it to the side, she had her tongue between her teeth as she hyper-focused on the frog.

And a ONE and a TWO - DOWNRIGHTLEFTRIGHTLEFT - "Evanesco!"

Well done on successfully vanishing your second creature. The table has disappeared for a second time and the path ahead is clear.

This time, your passageway leads you on a little further before turning to the left. A couple steps ahead, is your third table. This time, there is a yellow and black gecko for you to practice on, its colours are brighter than the frog’s were.

SPOILER!!: Isla

She followed the pathway. She wasn't exactly scared of anything, because this was class. DUH. She was hesitant, though, because she'd be stupid to think she'd never come across a situation where she'd have to suddenly use her wand. She veered off to the left and headed forward again, until she finally came upon another table. Ohh, a little cauldron.

Mmkay. Let's get this thing vanished! "Evanesco!" she called out. She moved her wand this way and that, making sure to go to the left and then the right at all the correct moments. When she was done, there was a little stream of magic that seemed to come from her wand, but nothing else happened. The cauldron was still there. Isla tried the spell a second time. "Evanesco!" she said. Another round of wand movements proved unsuccessful a second time. Siiigh. Did she need to concentrate more or something?

Unfortunately, despite the attempts the black cauldron continued to sit on the table. Maybe third time lucky?

Fiona waited with bated breath hoping her spell had worked. She had made the matchstick vanish so she was confident of her abilities.

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has now disappeared and the path is clear.

Following the passageway around the bend, you almost instantly come across your second table. Again, the item is on top of the table for you to work on. This time, there you have a tall and thin bottle. The label reads ‘buldadox juice’.

SPOILER!!: Juliette

Yup... were they supposed to make a potion or something because Juliette did not see a cauldron. Probably because this wasn't Potions class and she needed to make this vanish like what they had learned in class.

Which was... Evanescence... no that was too long it was... Evanesco. And the movement was... Juliette held her wand and slowly did a downward motion followed by a right, left, right... and a left, "Evanesco."

....... nothing.

"You have to be more sharp," Juliette sighed. She needed to more confident in her wand work here. Juliette normally had tons more confidence, but Transfiguration? No, thank you, she'll pass. But she also didn't want to be stuck in this room with the bowl of Plimpy eyes forever. She took a deep breath in and out then looked the bowl of Plimpy eyes in the, well... eyes. "You're going to vanish now, okay?" Not like anyone else could hear her anyways.

"Evanesco," Juliette said more clearly with the proper wand motions. And peering at the bowl it looked like some of the eyes had disappeared. That counted right? Could she leave this room now? Or did she need to vanish the eyes WITH the bowl? Not wanting to take the risk of being stuck in the room for the rest of her life till the end of class, Juliette shook off her jitters. "EvanESco!" Down, right, left, right, left... and... no sparks or anything extraordinary but the bowl of Plimpy eyes were gone.

Thank Merlin. Could she have a cauldron cake now?

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has now disappeared and the path ahead of you is clear.

Your next table is not so close. You have to follow the passage, take a turn to the right and then your left… then one more right - it doesn’t take long to get to your second table however. This time, on top you will find a square short bottle, labelled ‘buldadox juice’.

SPOILER!!: Bernie

She was just lacking confidence in herself and this spell, okay? Bernie pulled the claw out of her pocket and set it back on the table, swallowing a big lump in her throat.

"Evan--e---" She cleared her throat, closed her eyes, and tried to visualize what she wanted to happen, with the wand movement and all. When she felt confident she could IMAGINE herself completing the spell, she opened her eyes again.

And big breath.... with the zigzag down motion...

"EvanESco!"

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has now disappeared, the barricade has dissolved and the path is clear.

Taking a few steps forward the passageway turned to the left and you can see a long corridor in front of you. As you get halfway, the maze changes and gives you a dead-end. Wait a minute and the path is clear again. Once again standing in front of a table. This time, there is a small hedgehog for you to practice.

SPOILER!!: Carsyn

With that reminder in place, she moved her wand appropriately in the zigzag and then a "Evanesco," she stated aloud, because vanishing living things even if fake would definitely be a challenge and she wasn't confident with that as a nonverbal.

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has now disappeared, and the path is clear ahead of you.

After you turn the corner to the right, you find another passageway in front of you. Half w ay down it, you find your second table. On this table, you find a long iguana for you to practice on.

SPOILER!!: Eiji

He still wasn't sure what had even happened nor if he really felt like giving his wand another attempt because...it NEVER acted like that before. So...what the heck was going on with that. Groaning to himself, he pushed open the door and approached the table with the first object.

..........a fox.

Well...wasn't that ironic. He was tempted to make some sort of quip about showing off again as the man had done in Care of Magical Creatures buuuuuuuuuuuut he kept it inside and removed his wand instead. Interesting choice...the first item being an animal. He considered the fox as it slept, the way it breathed and how its body mass was deposited over table's surface. It's nose was curled into its stomach and then the tail over that...so it really brought the focus to the tummy area and where he needed to focus his spell - it was where the majority of the fox was.

Eyeing his wand, almost threateningly, for a moment before performing the zigzag wand movement. "EvanESco." he demanded.

Goodbye.

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has now disappeared from in front of you and the passageway is clear ahead of you.

The passage leads on straight ahead and then turns to the left. As you get halfway, the maze changes gives you a right turn. Just a bit ahead you can see your next table. This time, there is a pure white cat sitting watching you, just waiting for you to practice.

SPOILER!!: Heath

It felt like all those eyes were staring at him. It was a bit creepy, honestly! Oh well, at least he wouldn’t have to think too hard to summon the intent to vanish it. He actually wanted those eyes gone!

For once in his life, Heath was reasonably confident about casting a spell. He’d already done it once, and doing it again meant he got to be all dramatic with that wand movement he liked so much! He looked again at the bowl of eyes, imagining it as a many-eyed beast on the attack. It was up to Jedi!Heath to stop it! Gripping his wand tightly, he cut a sharp downward line through the air, line to the right, line to the left, right again, and back to the left. “Evanesco!” he cried, visualizing the bowl of eyes disappearing.

Please don’t backfire, please don’t backfire… Heath thought. That hadn’t happened to him yet, but it was still a very real possibility! Just in case, he took a step back, hoping to avoid the blast… or fire… or whatever else might happen. His eyes darted apprehensively toward the table. There was no fire or blast and no bowl of plimpy eyes either. He’d done it!

Well done on successfully vanishing your first item. The table has now disappeared, the passageway leads you to the right.

Once you have turned the corner, the passageway is straight again. A little bit down it, you find the second table. This time, you find a sprig of dittany on a clear platter for you to vanish.

She didn’t have to go far before she needed to turn left. Then she continued on until she needed to turn right. She reached the dead end and as promised, she didn’t have to wait long before a passage appeared to her. Naya counted the thirty steps that brought her to her next table and her next challenge.

Naya smiled at the crab with the lopsided claws. He was kind of like Nemo, but instead of a small fin, he had a small pincer. Leave it to Naya to make some random connection that would keep her from concentrating. She tried though, using her deep breath to focus method. While completing the wand movement, she said, “Evanesco”. Annnnd little Nemo was still on the table. Well so much for her mojo. One more time, she performed the wand movement and said, “Evanesco”.

Well done on successfully vanishing your third item. The table has now disappeared from in front of you. If you follow the passageway you will come to one last left turn. Ahead of you, you see a door.

Open the door and exit the maze, Miss Lindsay. You will enter a corridor where you will find another door to your right. This will lead you back into the original classroom where your things have been stored. On the large table, there is a stack of notes regarding vanishing. Make sure to pick one up.

For a moment he thought he had gone the wrong way, but this had been the only way to go. He stood contemplating the wall in front of him for a moment, and then it was gone and he could move forward. Oh, okay, that was weird, but he decided not to think much of it and just continue forward. Soon enough he came upon another table.

On top of this table was a hedgehog. And it was so cute! Alexandre was tempted to reach out and touch it, but wasn't exactly sure how to best go about doing that without getting poked by the quills. So he decided against it. He would have been even more tempted to keep this one but he remembered what Uncle Carwyn had said about it being conjured, and not really real. So he raised his wand. "Evanesco." Down, right, left, right, left. Nothing happened on the first try. But he took a calming breath and really focused and tried again. And then the hedgehog had vanished.

Well done on successfully vanishing your second item. The table has again disappear and once more you can follow the passageway.

This time, you have very little left to go in the passway before you take a left turn. The table is only a step or two ahead of you. For your third and final item, you have a honey coloured hamster to vanish.

OOC: Hi everyone, we have roughly 24 hours left. I'm hopefully going to get 2-3 more posts in so you all have as much chances to post as you need. Thank you for sticking with me, and sorry for the delay today. Some RL things cropped up that I wasn't expecting.
