...well that had been a terrible match, hadn't it? Er??? David didn't really follow Quidditch, and only attended the games he was forced to view, but he did pay close attention to Genny's team, as she was his friend and he wanted the best for her. He knew she wasn't the........what is an appropriate word here.........nicest person to be around when she had just lost, so after the match ended, he did his usual disappearing act and decided to find something to eat, because he didn't cook and he didn't want to go back to their ~~smallish~~ flat yet.

He'd really taken to wandering around London on his own, after all. It was peaceful time of day, early evening, and the sun was still up for the next few, so here he was, standing in line at this...Muggle shop...thing...food...cart? His hunger had drawn him here but per usual he was overthinking his hasty decision to purchase something from the vendor, particularly since the man running it may have had questionable hygiene practices, hairy hands, and a rather large spiderweb tattoo on his neck.

David did not approve, but he hadn't gotten out of line yet. He was still trying to count the Muggle money in his pocket to calculate what his change would be IF he did buy a sandwich or wrap or whatever it was when his ears caught a familiar-sounding voice. Perhaps it was his imagination, but he could have sworn a couple a little ways behind him kept saying his name??

He turned slightly, leaning out of the queue to see if it was who he thought it was. "Genny?" Was that her? He didn't have his glasses on at the moment, er, at all actually, ever since that tornado woman took them.... Plus quidditch was actually more tolerable when he could only half-see what was going on, so he didn't have his contacts in either.
