She accepted the arm-wrapping gesture by leaning into him a little, though keeping her arms crossed and her brows furrowed. "Oh please don't give me the standard you-lost-and-you-suck-but-it-is-not-the-end-of-the-world speech." she didn't mean to sound exasperated, but immediately as she said that, she heard her exasperation in her tone. "I'm sorry, I'm just..." her eyes caught sight of some baseball advertisement in the street, muggle sports for those who didn't know. She knew of those types of sports but never tried playing any. All her life focused around Quidditch. "...maybe I should change to baseball or something. Or even better, asports without a bat..." Okay, this time she sounded stupid and dramatic.

... what was this smell, by the way? Genny's brown eyes caught sight of the vendor by the huge statue. Was this sandwich stand there all the time? She was locked in that mood where she didn't want to admit that a falafel wrap would cheer her up... so Sam had to figure that out all by himself. All she did to help was to steer them in that direction and try not to stare too intently at the vendor.

Subtlety was not her game EITHER, but she was learning. Dating a pseudo-Ravenclaw taught her a lot of things including subtlety and collecting her laundry in a hamper instead of sprawling them on the chair for Coco to play with them all week.

"When have I ever said that you sucked?" Never. So don't sound quite so exasperated there, Genny Tate. Genny was well aware that she didn't suck – if she did, she wouldn't be playing quidditch professionally; so Sam wasn't going to allow her to sink in to her sulking that much. His blue eyes followed hers to the baseball posters, which he found to be very odd in general. Wasn't baseball an American sport? He'd at least first expect to see that muggle sport rounders before baseball. To be honest, they both seemed rather lackluster to him, as far as sports went. "Stick to quidditch," he answered dully, knowing she was only feeling sorry for herself and would never actually switch sports. Not to mention, it was a little late for that.

Getting Genny food was already on his agenda – it almost always improved her mood, after all – and so he happened to have the same idea when he spotted the vendor by the statue. "Well, I'm hungry, and I know you're always hungry," especially after a match, "So let's get some good street food? My treat." A little food now, followed by some favorable physical activities at home, and they'd both be in a good mood.
