Even if she was obnoxiously curious. "Makes sense. Well... I bet people don't dare try to bully you know. You give off an aura of intimidation." Not in a particularly bad way, just in a 'don't mess with me way'. That was respectable.
Standing up again, K stretched herself out into warrior pose, first leading with her right leg and taking a couple of additional calming breaths. She nodded hearing maybe one day she'd visit and she smiled slightly at her, "You should. The Northern lights are amazing. And even with as cold as it is, we have some beautiful sights as well." Even if she complained about the cold, she did love her town. "I've heard we have a fair share of vampires since it's easy to get away with being really pale in a place with not much sun. BUT as far as I know I haven't met one."
K raised an eyebrow hearing Aboli mention they had a second home. And in Korea? "You have a place there as well? That's really cool!" She was still jealous of Naia for getting to explore there after she had graduated. If she wasn't so excited about trying to start her own studio, she'd probably want to take the time to explore as well, especially South Korea. "He has a ton of stuff then? Aren't babies like... tiny though?" It had been awhile since she'd been around a litttle one that little, considering she didn't remember much from when Luke was first born. Hearing her talk about her other brother, the one here at school with her, K smiled slightly and nodded as she spoke, "It sounds like you guys have a really good relationship." That was always nice to have. "And I bet he loves being here at the school with you." Especially with them getting to be in the same house.
She nodded when she mentioned not realizing K had a brother, "Yeah, my family is mostly girls but my dad finally got his little boy with the last one." Which after 4 girls was probably quite the relief. "My twin sisters Regina and Naia are 22 this year and my sister Lucy is 16. She stayed at Ilvermony because she's on the Quodpot team." Which she loved.
An aura of intimidation? She found that interesting. She knew she TRIED, certainly, to come off intimidating sometimes, but she was surprised that she actually pulled it off. That was cool, then.
"Do I intimidate you?" she asked bluntly. Kimmie didn't have much to fear from Aboli...so far.
But the more she heard about Alaska the more she longed to visit. Northern Lights?! Cool! She bet it was soooOooo pretty, too.
"I bet you've met one and you didn't know it! Though...I think they're very cold. I wouldn't know," she shrugged.
"But I DO KNOW that my brother and I BOTH enjoy the bloodpops sold at candy shops," she smirked. One of her odder qualities, but not the oddest one, for sure. Aboli switched positions, one where she stood on one leg, balanced perfectly. Her breathing was so controlled....she wasn't entirely focused on it, though, because she
was chatting with Kimmie, but it was still quite relaxing and clearing for her head.
"Yep! I know Korean, too...Noah and I speak it sometimes," she tried not to sound TOO smug about it. Since Kimmie probably didn't know it...it was something only SHE AND NOAH could share. So. ha, Kimmie. Not that she'd ever say that to the girl's face, but it felt nice to have something that Kimmie didn't.
"Since my stepdad's been around since I was very young...he taught us. I also know Hindi. My grandparents are Indian." Aboli thought herself
very cultured.
And while she did miss her sibling at home, she still did have Koko.
"Oh wow...you have a sibling all the way in America...? That must be hard. I can't imagine being that far from Koko...or Liam, to be honest." She set her foot down, back on two feet, and stretched to the sky again.
"Do you write her often?"
