| a bit of catchup at the beginning (just for the flow) and then *tries it nonverbally* Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Still with thoughts of the gossip paper in her mind, now along with Disillusionment charms and the like, Carys had been wondering what other uses the charms had been applied to. Even so, she had quickly sketched a sunflower on her parchment when the mini activity had been introduced, only taking her wand out once she had set the quill back down. It was definitely odd not knowing what was on the parchment. Even if instinctively she did know, not seeing it was rather disconcerting. She’d still practiced the incantation in her head as usual before putting it into practice. Aparecium, aparecium, aparecium. Once she felt confident, she whispered it out loud once before tapping her parchment three times, choosing to actually try it as a non-verbal charm. She didn’t want to let her OWL score down.
As the lesson had moved on, she’d glanced up from the sketch long enough to acknowledge what they were supposed to be doing. Finding pieces of parchment should be pretty simple. She was a Hufflepuff after all. Still, she wanted the challenge, so she had gotten out of her seat to wander toward the shelves by the walls. Something told her it was a good hiding place, even before she saw a corner peeking out from between the pages of a book. She’d pulled the book off the shelf and opened it to make sure it wasn’t just a bent page, and once that was done, she tapped the parchment three times again. Aparecium
