In hindsight, she could see why no one liked her. But it wasn't HER fault...she had been misunderstood! Her poor mother, too, having to put up with all of it.
Also, "I don't know what that is in Celsius since we're not STUPID over here," she smirked a bit, just teasing. "Americans have to make eeeeverything more difficult than it needs to be." Which was so totally true. Her bio dad had roots in America, and look where he got - DEAD.
HmmMMmm. "I don't know that...I can describe it...it USED to be a church but it's been since renovated and turned into a massive house. So my room is near the tip-top. It's really cool looking." And colorful. And totally her mum's thing. And speaking of her family, she nodded at the siblings question. "My little brother Koko is here...he's a first year. He's from my mum and bio-dad...and then my stepdad and my mum have my littlest brother, Liam. He's sooooo cute - he'll be two soon!" She even giggled. "I miss him a whole lot."
K raised an eyebrow slightly as Aboli talked about her primary school experiences. She had been violent? And not well liked? She could easily see the correlation there, but she was also curious if there was a
reason to the violence. Although, was that a rude question to ask? Kim already a little bit felt she was trying to walk on eggshells since it felt important the girls at least have the ability to get along... but also, holding her tongue was not something she was well known for. So her nature ended up winning out and she asked anyways,
"Why were you violent? Was it protection from bullying?" She HAD just said that the other kids didn't really like her. And kids could definitely be MEAN.
Hearing her comment, the puff let out a full laugh and gave a small shrug of her shoulders.
"I feel like I can't even argue -- we DO make things more difficult. And I'd convert it to Celsius except... I'm not the brightest and I don't remember the formula. Either way, it's cold." Really cold. And that was why she preferred to spend as much as time as she could at the beaches in California with her friends.
She lived in an old church? K smiled and nodded her head, "I bet that does look really cool!" She'd seen the normal architecture for the area and had been impressed as it was, to get to live in something like that must have been amazing.
"Is your house really tall then?" She must have a very cool view from her bedroom if it was up towards the top. The Slytherin also clearly loved her family, because it seemed her smile was the most genuine talking about them.
"Is your brother in Slytherin as well or a different house?" And a little baby brother two!?
"Babies are the cutest. And 2 is such a fun age! It must be hard to be away from him." She wasn't even that close to her siblings and she was feeling homesick for the ones not here at school.
"I'm one of the youngest, but my little brother actually transferred with me as well. He's actually a second year Slytherin." First in the family.
