Sometimes if she was dehydrated she would get fuzzy when she moved positions, but luckily that did not happen today! This was why hydration was important!
OoOOooOOoh! Aboli didn't know Kimmie was from frickin' ALASKA. "Wait--" she sat back on her bottom, looking over at her. "You're from ALASKA? Whoah...how is that? Is it cold? Is it dark? Does it snow year-round? Is that why your accent is so weird?" She had a million questions! Her love of the sun made sense. "Oh, I'm from here. We live in Sussex. My house is actually really cool," she grinned. "I guess when I saw HERE I mean...The UK. Not Scotland." Aboli did not have that accent thank you very much!
Maybe Aboli's voice was soothing when she was in yoga!mode. "I don't think it's conducive to yell at people. But sometimes....it's just out of your control." Aboli had come a long way from the spoiled TANTRUM throwing child she had been. But her mother...was so patient with her. She didn't believe in yelling..yada yaaaaa.
After stretching forward, K turned her head to see Aboli move to downward dog and went ahead and adjusted herself into position as well. She leaned into the pose, letting her heels sink a little with each breath she took to get maximum stretch.
Hearing the questions about Alaska, K mimicked the other girl and sat again, turning her attention to the Slytherin as she answered.
"I am. My family moved to Alaska when I was like, 1. My mom got a job teaching History of Magic at a wizarding primary school out there." Which she still didn't understand why it had to have been in Alaska of all places. But at least it was pretty there.
"It's definitely cold. We usually get around 70 degree fahrenheit in the summer months, but that's technically a warm. Less than a quarter of the year is actual sunny days, which isn't my favorite part. It doesn't usually snow too much during the summer, but we do get a lot of snow from fall to spring. So most of the year." Good old freezing Alaska. She chuckled at the accent question and gave a slight shrug of her shoulders,
"I'm not sure about the accent part because it doesn't sound like one to me, but probably it's why it sounds weird."
Hearing her talk about her house, K smiled and gave a slight nod. It must be nice to live closer to school and have more chance of seeing people outside of the school months. Hearing her mention her house, the puff tilted her head to the side,
"What's your favorite part about your house?"
K giggled slightly at her next words regarding yelling and nodded her head in agreement,
"It's true it's probably not super productive... I must admit I kind of like to be loud on occasion though. And it's definitely hard to refrain from yelling at my little brother some days." Most days, bless him.
"Do you have any siblings?"
