"I see," nodded the boy as he cut up a piece of pancake and ate it. He remained silent, listening to all that Ewan had to offer and taking in gems of wisdom here and there. "Thank you." It made him feel a lot better.
"Do you often come down here for second breakfast? And elevenses?" asked Noah, offering a wide grin. Hopefully the other boy got his LOTR reference.
”It can be tough but it’s just like anything. It takes practice and patience” but he already knew that if he had somehow managed to stick it out doing ballet.
”If you ever want to climb though, drop me an owl” because he was always looking for someone to climb with, mainly because it wasn’t something he talked about a lot. Oops.
Ewan just smiled and nodded a little. He’d hoped he’d helped a little at least, after all, that was what he was there for. Prefects were supposed to be able to do that although he could barely name a prefect that had come before him except the ones that had left last year.
”No worries”.
He considered the boys next question for a moment before he answered.
”I guess it depends on the day of the week? Lessons kind of stop me coming down for elevenses and luncheon but I don’t mind a little afternoon tea” a small smile on his lips now as he looked over at the younger Gryffindor. He himself was a fan of the writing of J.R.R. Tolkien and judging from Noah’s question, he was too.
