Islay had missed this place – the art room was her safe space. Really, it didn’t matter if anyone else was in there she could just turn music on in her headphones and let her paintbrush do the talking…or well, the arting.

That was what she was attempting to do today - for a moment she just had her headphones about her neck before just deciding to play the music aloud in the room. No one else was in there at the moment – right?...or at least, she hadn’t seen anyone when she walked in.

The brunette clapped her hands together as she got ready to paint. “if you see my enemies tell’em I stand correc…stand corrected” she sang out along with the song as she shimmied her shoulders to the beat. First, it was her shoulders and then she was full-on hop-shuffling around the room as she danced to the song playing from the portable speaker. “if you see my enemies tell’em I want to be friends again” she sang out again as she FINALLY started to touch her brush to the taught white canvas.
