"Does the eternal hunger ever go away?"

Ewan couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the boy’s wonder. Yes, he really was sharing his pancakes, why the surprised looks? It wasn’t like he’d made them and why not share them? A shared meal is much more interesting than a meal alone after all. ”Sure, help yourself mate. There’s enough for both of us. You know, unless you eat like a horse” which, he wouldn’t actually mind. Maybe then he could make his own pancakes and they’d be fresh and warm.

Mmm…warm, fresh pancakes!

”I am Ewan, yes” he confirmed with a smile and a nod ”And as for the eternal hunger? Nope. You just keep eating. The trick it to exercise more” something that he had a feeling he might struggle with this term, what with his NEWT exams. But worrying about that would have to wait. Now, it was pancake time!

Plates and cutlery in hand, he placed enough down for the both of them and then grab a few pancakes before quickly pulling his wand out ”Accio Syrup” because who in their right mind would have pancakes without syrup? Okay, so Ice cream was acceptable instead but that was about it. Ooo, and fresh fruit! That too.

”How are you finding Hogwarts so far anyway?” he asked, just before the first forkful of pancakes entered his mouth.
