Laughing, she held onto the leash MUCH tighter this time - since it was definitely a challenge to keep up with the two. She was even more amused when Rufus managed to run past Ewan, however what didn’t amuse her was when he started running in circles.

“Stoooooooop, Rufus! Pleeeaaaaase” she called out, pulling at his leash, hoping to stop him but obviously failing and COLLIDING with Ewan instead. “OOOOF, oh no”

Okay, this time it was not funny.

He had no idea if Missa was keeping up or not but if she was, she had some pair of lungs because he was panting just from trying to out run the little devil!

And then it was circling him? ”Ruuufuuus! Come on man. Do you ha- he groaned, stopping just in time to see a Missa shaped object collide with him.

”OH!"

Somehow, the annoying little furball had managed to cause both Ravenclaw prefects to end up in a big ball of limbs and leash. ”OW! he grunted as he removed her knee from his stomach.

He did not expect to be so intertwined with Missa coming into this lesson at all. Nope.

”Uhh…Missa…you okay?”

This was all still VERY funny to Rufus. It was like he was writing a rom-com for cats. These two were literally falling for each other. HA HA!

The deed done, the wampus flopped down on the ground and rolled around, tangling his leash into more and more knots as he sought to scratch a spot on his back. Ahhh. Yes, he loved his life, minus this stupid thing on his back.

hey that was fast Islay thought as Rufus took off and she practically ran to keep up, her eyes following the blur of fur that was the wampus kitten. “c’mon Rufus you’ve got this” she told him as they neared one of the many obstacles. “lets do this” she nodded to Naya letting her take the lead as it seemed that her own Kneazel wanted nothing to do with this yet again.

They had to get the wampus to jump. Naya called back to Islay. “I’m going to try to get Benjie to jump first, so Rufus knows what to do.” Naya went on the other side of the hoop and called to Benjie to jump through again. She made sure that he saw the treat that would get for a prize.

Benjie had gotten the hang of this obstacle course thing. He was following the smell of treats and when he saw his girl holding one, he knew what to do. Benjie jumped through the hoop and immediately got his tasty treat.

Careful to avoid the wampus’ eyes, Naya held out a treat for Rufus to see. “Come on Rufus. It’s your turn now. Jump through the hoop and you get a treat too.” Come on Rufus. Naya wasn’t sure how this was going work out. She was hoping for the best. “Come on Rufus.”

Ugh, no! The kneazle was going through the hoop, which meant Rufus would have to go through too in his pursuit of the smaller feline. He couldn't pounce on him whilst jumping; the space was too small.

So through the hoop he went without much fuss, his yellow eyes still trained on Benjie as though he were a deer he was hunting. The next obstacle? He went over that too, trying his best to close the small gap betwixt him and the other cat.
