A zoo dedicated to Newt Scamander? How would he design that? He paused, wondering what he should include in there. What sort of animals would be in there..? Definitely a niffler. What other creatures? And what should the zoo be in the shape of? Oh yes, he could picture it now. Newt Scamander's suitcase. Or maybe the suitcase was the entrance to the zoo?
He picked up his quill and started scribbling. SPOILER!!: Into the Suitcase! Scamander Sanctuary
Noah Nam, Fifth Year Gryffindor A zoo dedicated to Newt Scamander would be set in a park. There would be a statue of the great Mazigzoologist cast in bronze and below him would be an enlarged replica of his famous suitcase which was the entrance to the zoo. Stepping inside, you have to go down a spiral staircase to your left and right are aquatic exhibits. There you will see a menagerie of sea creatures cohabiting. If you venture far enough, on your left hand side you will see the colourful sea floor with various sea corals, tropical fish, murtlaps, dolphins, and kelpies cohabitating. To the right hand side, you will see a lake habitat with grindylows, eels, algae, and trout. This is only the beginning of the Scamander Sanctuary.
Leaving the first exhibition, you will find yourself entering a quiet secluded forest at midnight. If you arrive on a certain day, you will either find a unicorn, some winged horses (such as a thestral), or maybe even a doxy or fairy if you're lucky.
At the exit to the zoo, you will find a memoriam to Newt Scamander, congratulating and regaling all of his stories. There's even a portrait of him beside it that has him smiling and interacting with viewers. Occasionally there will be a surprise creature from the exhibit behind him or on his shoulder. As you head for the exit, you'll find a Niffler, happily diving through the donations jar. Rumor has it, he's the descendant of Scamander's trusted Niffler.
He picked up his quill, reading through his work once more, before he picked up a pencil and began sketching. He sketched each of the exhibits briefly from a bird's eye view, then added coloured pencil, and cut out images of said animals to the collage. He put it in a shape of Scamander's suitcase before he took a step back to admire his work.

This is a sanctuary dedicated to a few creatures that he came across throughout his adventures and is a place where young witches and wizards can learn about their favourite animals. Interactive exhibits happen quite often so that any child can be inspired to embrace their dreams as a future Maizoologist.
