Up until this point, Morgan had been pretty zoned out. There really was A LOT of talking going on and he really didn't know too much about Newt Salamander in the first place. And that much note taking (or the prospect of it, because in reality he wasn't taking that many notes), caused him to shut down a little.
He also hadn't done well in the guessing game of his timeline order. But Morgan did find it kind of interesting that one, he'd gotten kicked out of Hogwarts but didn't end up a total loser and two, he did some sort of werewolf thing. Inspired, he started doodling werewolves in the margins of his "notes" during the discussion, unable to feel like he could constructively add anything as again, he didn't know much about Newt Salamander, only looking up when his dormmates got called out for cheating. Oh snap.
But luckily they didn't even get into trouble and Morgan gave them an encouraging smile as they both looked somewhat abashed. There were obviously perks to being the headmaster's son and he was pleased that they didn't even lose points or get detention or anything else bad.
And THANKFULLY they were done taking notes now. Morgan didn't quite follow ALL the instructions, but the gist of it was there (and thankfully they were on the board for reference). Make your own zoo! The Gryffindor hopped up from his seat and grabbed two magazines to bring back to his desk. What kind of cool animals should he include??
