No no, he'd stay right here in his lap...until now because partners? The Gryffindor rose to his feet and looked about for someone but dang these filled up quickly and being the new guy, no one was really tripping over themselves to grab him. Kitt looked around, then over at the professor as he was handing Cecelia--that was her name, yes?--to a pair that were already partners.

"Oh! Oh! Ooohhhhh! Professor!" He waved his hand frantically despite not being all that far from the man. Sparky, he held close because he was still acting up. "I too would like to also have a partner as well."

Cecelia JUMPED and giggled when Professor Williamson called her very loudly by her mum's name. It was the first ever time that'd happened to her at school and she found it VERY amusing. "It's the hair, professor. I've got hair just like her." So she totally understood why he'd gotten confused. That happened to old people a lot, she supposed. She was also thankful the guy had found her a group without being too embarrassing about it. She didn't want the whole WORLD to know she hadn't found herself a partner, you know?

"Hi Tom, hi Blake!" The third year smiled, waving Mate's paw at them. Only then she was being re-partnered, and this time to someone who'd actually requested to work with her. Hey, that was kind of a nice feeling, actually! "Bye Tom, bye Blake!" She'd be going now.

"Kitt, this is Mate," Cecelia announced to her partner, showing off the kneazle that was only hers for class, but still felt very much hers. She set the creature down by her leg, trusting he'd stay nearby, especially with how he seemed to be eyeing Fiona. Speaking of, she accepted the wampus's lead and tugged very gently towards the course. "Hi Fiona, I bet you're very smart." She looked very smart to Cece.

"What do you think will get her to go through the course?" She turned her attention to Kitt. "Mate liked the treats and all, but I think he liked going after the mouse more."
