Team Purple
Avalon spent a few more moments pondering all of the alternatives. These kelpies were not something they could afford to mess around with. And she didn't want to be the cause of anyone getting injured on their first class back at Hogwarts. "Honestly, I think we need a couple of distractions planned out in case the first one doesn't work." Now that she thought of it, it would be incredibly stupid to have a bunch of them try to distract the kelpie, only to have the plan fail, and to have then wasted all of their human resources. "And we should probably have at least two or three people in charge of the bridle, in case the first person isn't able to do it." Hopefully not because they were incapacitated or being dragged into the lake. "The rest of us can be on distraction duty. What if we set up a sort of a triangle of distractions, and try to trap the kelpie in the middle of it? We could have some of us on the grass here, some of us over by those bushes, and then someone throw a bunch of rocks to make a commotion in the water. The distractions would have to be like a chain reaction, to totally catch the kelpie's attention. Then, while it's confused, the two people on bridle duty can slip it on." Whew. It was a complicated plan, and it all hinged upon the kelpie actually falling for it. Which was doubtful. "How does that sound?" Avalon asked the group. If anybody had any other ideas, she'd be happy to hear them. But she couldn't really think of a better solution. She'd leave it up to them which positions they wanted to take up.
