Heath positively beamed when Recard called his answer excellent. He was relieved to know it hadn’t been as big a stretch as he initially thought, but there wasn’t much time to dwell on his success. Wow, he knew Newt Scamander had helped out a lot of creatures, but he never realized it was this many! There were some creatures mentioned that he hadn’t even heard of! He listened, jotting down a few notes on his classmates’ answers until they moved on. Looking up from his notes, he refocused his attention on the professor as she explained the activity. Okay, so they were supposed to put the highlights of Newt Scamander’s life in order. Seemed simple enough… maybe even a little tedious, actually, but Heath wasn’t complaining. He’d take a boring, predictable activity over a chaotic one any day of the week!

He stared at the board, trying to mentally place the events listed. Expelled from Hogwarts… that one definitely came first, and it made sense for the Order of Merlin to be last because he knew it took a lot of accomplishment to earn something like that. So he had the first and last events. Now what?

Heath wracked his brains for answers. He knew Newt met Tina sometime in the mid 1920s, and Newt had already written (or was in the process of writing) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the time. That meant the commission had to come before meeting Tina, but did those things happen before or after the Werewolf Ledger and Ban on Experimental Breeding? Or somewhere in the middle of the two?

Given the fact that Newt didn’t seem to be an old man when he met Tina, Heath was going to guess that that happened before the other two events. Now the question remained, Which came first: the Werewolf Ledger or the Ban on Experimental Breeding? Ugh, he didn’t know, and he was running out of time to get this done! Still unsure, he wrote down his best guess:
