♡ A heart full of Love l ☾ A night bright as Day l
As the Headmaster responded to her strategy, she felt a little sense of hope, but slowly could feel the dwindling of her confidence as he told her why it wouldn't work. "Well true....but what i-," she couldn't think of a rebuttal and thought it best not to argue with the Headmaster, WHICH SHE WOULDN'T DO! Keeping her composure, she responded calmly, "Forgive me...You're correct, Headmaster, it wouldn't work..."
....
The feeling of her inner disappointment didn't last long as he continued on with the lesson however. She blinked caught off guard by the army of wooden horses that appeared after he'd waved his wand. WHOA! Faye couldn't help admiring the structure of the horses, they were very interesting! Her attention soon back onto the Headmaster as he addressed the class with his next instructions. They would be bridling the wooden horses with the placement charm, Fixate. Watching and listening to his instructions very carefully as to memorize everything he was doing to make sure she had it correct from the pronunciation to the wand movement.
When it was time, she followed the crowd towards the bucket of bridles, managing to grab one for herself. The redhead soon walked back towards the army of stomping horses. Walking a bit towards the left until she managed to find an unclaimed horse. "Right.." The third year positioned her bridle in line with the wooden horse. Hearing the Headmaster's last words did make her question just how mean these horses would be, which most likely meant that it was going to be a challenge. She grew up around horses, so at least some idea, but this was new territory since they were wooden. Faye pulled out her wand, pointing it towards the bridle on the ground before speaking clearly, "Fixate!" Making sure to keep a steady hand and keep her concentration, she watched as the bridle slowly began to levitate and go in the direction of the wooden horse. Yes! She wanted to celebrate her excitement that her concentration was working, but looking at the horse was making her a little apprehensive....It was going to move wasn't it...
