"I bet a lazy nut would climb onto the back of a random horse that appears by water. A tired one, too. And maybe one that likes adventure..." She supplied helpfully, pausing and then adding. "I like adventure, but I don't think I'm a nut." At least she hoped she wasn't.
As for what her plan of action would be, well, she didn't really KNOW because Cecelia was more an in the moment type girl. She imagined her reaction to the kelpie would probably be different depending on where they were, who she was with, what the weather was....there were a LOT of factors to consider.
But..since kelpies pretended to be a horse, couldn't she pretend, too?
"Guess you'd have to be real sneaky like a kelpie, right? Like, go along with their act and pretend you really think they're a horse. I'd talk to it like I talk to ALL the creatures I get to interact with and use my most soothing, approachable voice. Maybe I'd even pet it and THEN-BAM! Placement charm and a bridle JUST when they think they've got the upper hand." She grinned. "My great gran was an actress. I never met her, but I'm PRETTY sure I got her acting genes." She could totally sell it.
