Funny how that worked, and how frequently it had been happening since he'd first arrived.

Slowly, he walked into the room. Sure, he'd had games at home, but they were...muggle...was that it? They were non-magic games that he played with his siblings and parents. Surely, with just about everything in this joint being magic, these games were of a different variety, too.

More excited than he was nervous about interrupting, Kitt drifted even further into the room and over to the older boy.

"How does this work?"
Mark was busy setting up the cards to play the patience variant of Exploding Snap. He had the time so playing this version would be fine on his own. Bavarian Snap would be a bit of a stretch playing by himself.

His head turned when he heard a "Whoa" come from the door and saw a younger Gryffindor come on in.

He hadn't seen him before this year, but he looked older than a 1st year. A transfer no doubt. He had seen him in some of the classes though so there was some familiarity if barely. "Hey there." The Teenage Eagle smiled happy to tell anyone who didn't know whatever they wanted to about Wizarding games. He was a self-proclaimed expert after all.
"It's a matching game, called Exploding Snap. You need to make pairs of them before they explode."
It wasn't Wizard's Chess was equally pretty brutal if you thought about it, but it was heart racing at times.
