So the school kneazle she was now cradling in her arms like a big old baby looked LESS than enthused about the cuddling situation, but it WASN'T scratching or anything, so Cecelia assumed he liked her just as much as she liked him. It was love at first meow. Thing was, she didn't know his name and she felt bad not knowing, especially when she was supposed to be introducing him to everyone. He'd be the nameless kneazle in class and then what if the other kneazles teased him? He looked like he could defend himself well enough, but the emotional toll that would take would be DEVASTATING and Cecelia could NEVER live with herself if she let that happen. No, she needed to at LEAST give him a nickname.

Oh, it was her turn to share! Uhhhhh.. "Well, I'm Cecelia Summers, like I said, but you could also call me Cece if you wanted." A lot of people did. "And this guy is...well, I don't actually KNOW his name, but I'm calling him Mate 'cause we're going to be good friends." So the name totally fit. "And I know that kneazles like this guy can fall in love with cats and have a bunch of cool baby kitty!kneazles. Or would they just be called kittens? I'm not sure about the NAME part, again, but I know that can happen." Mhm!
