"Bonjour!" Phoebe took a moment to paaaaaaause in the doorway, giving the professor a grand flourish before she entered the room and looked for a seat. She and the professor had had a bit of a false start a few terms back, but Phoebe thought she'd made up for it. She liked this class, she participated, and she didn't mention that France would be better at the bottom of an ocean somewhere.
Phoebe startled as something touched her ankle, and she hopped up on the nearest chair with a squeak. "Excuse moi, but I think we have rats. Or were we allowed to bring cats to this class too?"
