The beginning of the term and fall were Blake's favorite times of year. It was the promise of a new beginning really. Each new school year Blake at the chance to make new friends and be someone different if he wanted to ... okay ... well ... he was never truly different, other than he grew at least 2 inches over the summer .. he was thinking about cutting his hair to ... maybe next year.

Blake even though the new term had hardly begun needed some hair, he hadn't been able to find any of his friends yet this term, he must have been missing them in the halls... but the Great Lake was always a great place to sit and enjoy some peace and quiet. Taking out a couple sandwiches and sitting down on the water's edge Blake began to stare off into the distance.
