Nem, who had stopped just short of the Great Hall's doors to charm his robes dry somewhat, simply couldn't help but hear some sort of unpleasantness nearby. Really. Couldn't help it. It was a frequency his ears were tuned into by default. And was that Blaze's voice?
He didn't have to go very far to find out that, actually, it was. Nem stood a little ways away as Grantham stormed off, and he swept his rain-soaked hair off to one side, trying to decide if this was entertaining enough to grant it an audience.
Wait a minute.
"Is that a crup?" Nem said suddenly, and quite a bit LOUDER than was really necessary, stepping forward and pointing at one of the carriers. "Wicked. I didn't know they'd changed the rules." Again. Loud. So loud.
