I love both, I really do. And I honestly believe that the movies are good, they are entertaining and easy enough to follow if you haven't read the books. However, nothing will ever top the books for me. The background stories we get, the characters that we never got to see in the movies, and all the layers that the movies didn't portray accuately... it has to be books.
