“OOf. Ouch. That’s… That’s gotta be rough for him.” Chase paused again, wondering if the boyfriend – well ex had been jealous of all of GG’s friends that she had given nicknames too. No wonder he broke up with her… Ermm… He shouldn’t have been taking HIS side – he was HER ‘friend’ after all. “So who else has nicknames?”


“Lucas would fit that…” His best friend was great . Hilarious and wonderful and… but would he and Beth be a match? He nodded slowly. “No, no. Maybe. Lucas is head over heels for this girl but he won’t ask her out,” he exclaimed, rolling his eyes. His dude had all the swagger, all the kindness, all the smarts and cunningness, and intellectually wonderful things in the world – mixed together made a wonderful friend. He knew what name she uttered but he just wanted to make her say it again so he could tease her. It did make him feel much better when he heard it… Ermm…. Ignore the boys look whaat? Nevermind. Not going there. Now the mention of Maeve brought a silly smile to his lips. “Maeve… She’s a keeper. I can’t believe you tarnished my name in front of her. She must really love me to remain by my side after that…” He had thought a lot about her recently. Could they be together for … well … forever? Forever was a long time. He smiled as Maeve continued to talk about Maeve more. He chuckled and almost… blushed. “Yeah, she’s Maeve. My Maeve. I’m here Chase…”
