The boy talked a lot and she momentarily considered just staring at him to see if he'd keep talking on his own. But he didn't, he actually asked a question. And Catherine recognised him from Hogwarts. A Gryffindor, too. No wonder. She gave him a suspicious look when he said how 'tiring' the sweets shop was. What even did he mean by that? Tiring? Probably because there was so much to see and so many isles to look through? She studied him a bit more and concluded he was probably the type to rush around and tire himself out in a shop like that. Hm. Fine, it made sense after all.

"No, I haven't." She replied, deciding it was pointless to apologise because the conversation had moved on by now and it was much easier that way and she didn't mind him taking all of the responsibility for what had happened. Besides, who was this boy anyway? She didn't have to tell him whether she had picked something up or not, or who is was for, or how much she even planned on spending there that day. Catherine turned to whatever shelf was next to them and pretended to look through it. What she was really doing, however, was staring at the boy from the corner of her eyes, as if trying to work him out.

He was a Gryffindor, she remembered that bit, but was it just her or was he more familiar to her than the average Gryffindor? Maybe he was Noah's or Cecelia's friend? Those two had way too many friends, it wouldn't surprise her if she had seen them with this boy before. Still, that didn't give him the right to know her business.
She didn't know what she was getting, which was okay, but Elias was hoping to get some ideas, but he had to think on his own and did everyone not realize that was exhausting? Why couldn't she just have given him an idea that he could have seen if he wanted or not? When she turned to look at the shelves Elias turned the same way.

'So you go to Hogwarts, right? You a first year? I think I've seen you before in class." He thought he had, but maybe he was wrong. All girls kind of looked the same to him. Though that was probably rude to admit since he was a twin and it annoyed him when people couldn't tell them apart.

"I'm Elias in case you don't know."
