Was he a little like Sam and Maxie in that he had a bit more of a personal bubble than herself? She was learning to read the signs, especially when they were pointed out to her so clearly like Minjae was at the moment.
"Oh...sorry," she chirped, her arms uncoiling from around him as she skipped around him and planted both of her feet firmly on the ground in front of him. As she faced him, she caught a glimpse of Auntie January a little down the street but thought nothing of it. She seemed to be out with a friend right now and it would probably be rude for her to interrupt. "Hi. I just got excited to see you is all. How are you? How has your summer been? OH! I have something for you from Himitsumahou but I don't have it with me now...so I'll give it to you on the Hogwarts Express."
Oh...and now Auntie January was gone. Oh well.
One thing that Minjae could not do was getting mad about hugs. Hugs were lovely. He just wasn't a big hugger himself. He had been, but that was years ago before he started Hogwarts. He would hug everyone he met to the point that his parents had to explain to him that sometimes people did not like that. He had not understood it back then but now that he was getting older himself he got it.
Glad that Becky did let go of his back, he watched her as she skipped around him so that he was facing her. Completely unaware of the event that was happening behind him, Minjae laughed.
"I didn't know anyone would be excited to see me" Liked maybe, enjoyed even. But excited? lol.
"My summer is great" he lied. Well, it wasn't really a lie. He had had a great time in Switzerland. He just had a lot of worries now but she did not need to know that
"My grandparents are flying over tomorrow" And he couldn't wait to get his hands on the newest VR system!
"How has yours been?" he asked.
Himitsuma....what?
"What's a Himitsumaioh?" had he said that correctly? He was a Muggleborn and although he knew quite a bit about the Magical World, some things were still a mystery to me.
"Is that like a town or a school?" His bet was on a hometown or something of that kind.
"What did you wanted to give me?" come on! one does not simply say they got a gift and then not give it immediately. He hated waiting...
